An international move is a fresh start and usually a bit of bureaucracy as well. Between moving out and moving in lie a border, customs regulations and, depending on the destination, a long journey. So that you can concentrate on arriving, we take care of the planning, from packing to customs clearance.
Every destination country has its own requirements. We shape the process accordingly and fit it around your personal dates, such as starting a new job or your children starting school.
Customs and paperwork: we keep track
At the border, complete paperwork decides whether your belongings continue on their way without delay. We handle the customs formalities and make sure all the required documents and permits are in place and correct. If there is anything you need to obtain yourself, we let you know early on. Transport with international partners
For the journey to your destination country, we work with a network of freight forwarders and logistics partners. Our destinations include Germany, France, Italy and Austria, and more distant countries through our partner network.
At your destination, moving helpers from our international network of removal companies support you. They help with unloading and with setting up your new home.
Storage when the dates do not match
The new home is not always ready to move into when the old one has to be handed back. For that period, we provide secure storage if needed. Our storage facilities are clean and well protected, and your furniture stays there until it is time for the onward journey.
Before you leave, we can also take care of the final cleaning of your Swiss flat and the disposal of everything that is not travelling with you. Furniture that is to follow later can be delivered afterwards with our transport service.

Which countries do you move to?
We cover the neighbouring countries Germany, France, Italy and Austria. For destinations in other countries, we work with international logistics partners. Just ask, even if your destination country is further away.
Who takes care of customs?
We do. We handle the customs formalities and check that all documents and permits are complete. We discuss with you early on which documents you need to provide personally.
Will someone help me unload abroad?
Yes. Through our international network, moving helpers are ready at your destination. They unload the vehicle and help you settle into your new home.
Can I take out additional insurance for my belongings for the journey abroad?
Yes, on request. Additional insurance cover is particularly worthwhile for long distances and valuable items. We explain the options to you before the move.
How early should I plan an international move?
As early as possible, ideally a few months in advance. Giving notice, customs documents and appointments in the destination country all need lead time. Our moving checklist helps you make sure nothing is forgotten.
